There Is History In Missile Technology

Agree it is election time, but that does not mean everything happening in the country need be an election related event. If not then why in an unprecedented broadcast to the nation on television, radio and social media Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that India had demonstrated anti-satellite missile capability by shooting down a live satellite, describing it as a rare achievement that puts the country in an exclusive club of space super powers. No doubt this is another step ahead of our missile technology and It’s not the PM Narendra Modi but the some credit must goes to the efforts of Modi hater, India’s first prime minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, and his close aide and scientist Vikram Sarabhai --- founders of Indian National Committee for Space Research was established under the DAE in 1962, and later INCOSPAR grew into ISRO in 1969. Hence this is not the first time, earlier also we had created history in missile technology by firing, Prithvi, Agni, Dhanush etc in the space. But never any PM ever thought 15 minutes in advance “ to watch my programme”, the success of Prithvi and any others? It’s clearly indicated, how Modi’s blow their own trumpet over others achievements. Even that Modi’s “Shooting down a low earth orbit satellite is a rare achievement for the country” is a great achievement, though our Mission Shakti shot down our own satellite that was in Low Earth Orbit of about 300 km. Whereas, spy satellites orbit at around 800 km, for which considerable more rocket power and navigation capabilities are required. Among the other three countries China is known to have carried out a successful satellite killing at spy-orbit level. USA and Russia also have carried out several anti-satellite missions. One hope our Mission Shakti in the near future come with such powerful missile, which to shooting down any Chinese or other countries spy satellite.
