Nikon opens new experience zone in Margao

Camera company Nikon India, launched a new experience store on Monday, the second in the state and the 145th store pan-India. The store has the entire range of cameras including the mirrorless series, D-SLR cameras and compact COOLPIX cameras.

The Cam Clinic Nikon store is located at Colva Circle. It is owned by Alex E Antony.

Nikon’s first experience store in the state is located in Panaji.

Speaking at the launch, Sajjan Kumar, managing director, Nikon India said that Goa’s USP as a pre-wedding shoot destination and the presence of heritage architecture, churches and landscapes is ideal for photographers.

“We are thrilled to announce the launch of our latest experience zone in yet another diversified market. Being one of the most preferred holiday spot, Goa is a picturesque land offering plethora of opportunity to enthusiasts and professional photographers alike. The new outlet underscores our commitment to ensure a hassle-free sales point as the city witnesses an ever-increasing number of enthusiasts,” said Kumar.

In terms of servicing, Kumar pointed out that the company has a collection center in Panaji which is connected to the nearest service center either in Mumbai or Pune.

Jitender Chugh, vice president, Imaging Division, Nikon India who was also present on the occasion said, “The addition of a new experience zone will help consumers get acquainted, with the product range to make an informed choice. The launch reaffirms our consistent efforts to encourage consumers to pursue their interest in photography with innovative products and easy accessibility of our wide-range of cameras and accessories.”

Nikon India distributes markets and services the complete range of Nikon cameras, binoculars and instruments.

The company is headquartered in Gurgaon and has branch offices in Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Delhi. It has total of five service centers, 32 authorised service centers, 43 collection centers and over 3,000 dealer network.
